Here in Queenstown there are many activities for the whole family. Below I have listed a few and some for the more adventurous of you, but there is plenty more out there to see and do:
A visit to Milford Sound and, or Doubtful Sound is a must, but be aware of travel times as although it doesn’t seem far, it is a difficult road and must be respected. Our roads are different here in NZ so please do some research and allow plenty of time. Keep to the left at all times and follow the speed limit. A good idea would be to book a coach so you can enjoy the scenery or treat yourself and fly, taking in the spectacular views.
Enjoy a cruise on board the TSS Earnslaw steamship across Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak. Indulge in a delicious carvery buffet at the Colonel homestead and see a live sheep shearing demonstration.
Take a ride on the Skyline Gondola, experience the amazing views, ride the Luge then take the Gondola cable car back down.
Do one of the many jet boat safari’s for an adrenaline rush.
Wanaka is only an hour away and has Puzzling World and Maze which is great for everyone.
